Have version 3.0.5579 latest for the Inspire. Syncs OK PC to phone, but gives me a Warning stating: "unable to copy calendar items from your device."
I sync from Gmail and Outlook 2003 and OS is Windows 7 Home Premium. As HTC Sync has zero settings (as far as I can see), how do I fix it so calendar items I set on the phone will sync to the PC?

I'm having the same problem with Outlook 2007 and WIndows XP Pro. I am also on 3.0.5579 with an Inspire. I am not syncing from Gmail though, so that is not causing the problem. It also would not appear that any of the other factors are causing a problem either since we are running different versions of Windows and Outlook. It would appear that the common denominator is either the Inspire phone, but at one time I was able to copy calendar items from the phone, or the HTC Sync version. I'm betting it has something to do with the HTC Sync version. I am going to try to revert back to an older version of HTC Sync and see what happens. I'll keep you up to date whether it works or not. Of course, if HTC has a solution, it would be nice to know about it.
I was hoping to have an answer one way or the other but unfortunately, I can't revert back to an older version of HTC Sync. If someone can help me with that, it would be much appreciated. Until then, we're at the mercy of HTC to give us a solution to our problem. Of course, there's no telling if that will ever happen. I have yet to receive any type of response from HTC when it comes to problems or issues.
I have an HTC Inspire on ATT and sync on a Windows 7 laptop with Outlook 2010. I was syncing fine at one point, but now I get the above errors as well and I cannot sync pictures from phone to PC either. I went as far as deleting all the holidays and approintments on my phone calendar to see if one of them was the problem. No help. I tried the suggested sequence in one of the other forums of starting Sync All on phone, then plugging into computer, then opening sync. Still same. Anyone have some help?
I followed the directions in this forum
Even tho mine was not greyed out, I did what Mark said to do and it worked. One difference, in my Control Panel I could not repair outlook, but outlook social network connector. I also deleted all my calendar information on my Inspire. Next time it synced I got everything back from outlook.
