My battery was getting low so I started charging it. I heard it ding when two text messages were delivered. A few minutes later I went to check the messages and all of my messages (SMS & MMS) were no where to be found. Anyway to get them back? They were not backed up to my SD card. I had some information that I was planning to write down from some of them. Why would the phone delete all of my messages? I do not have it set up to delete messages when they reach 200 or more so I should be the only one deleting them as I want to.
Never have or hear that problem before in my life. May be the message was receiving and your phone shut down and phone did not save incompleted messg. What do you set % battery warning? Yesterday i downloaded the sms app called handcent from market. This handcent showed all the mesgs like drafts.... I have never seen on sms that came with the phone. You might see your lost mesgs with handcent. Who knows
ldrummond, Ah I remember it happened to me when I was playing with my ring tones. I was just touched the app called "funny ringtones" to open. Suddently, my phone popped up the warning "battery low...". force to close down the app. After charging the battery, I couldn't find "funny ringtones" app anywhere on the phone. It is weird huh? Think about if it happens with "password keeper" or it deletes my "valuable files"!!! I would run my car over my thunderbolt.. LOL
