It's the Bluetooth. I'm now able to connect for basic functionality, but I can't get it to access my phonebook. If I try that, the whole connection is killed. This is still very aggravating and I wish HTC would do something about it.

I think this may be a self created issue but I'm not sure. I was having the same problem of losing 3g signal. I did the ##778 trick and it worked for me. Sounds like it may or may not work but just wanted to let people know that it can work.

I ran into this issue also but there is a problem with the network that verizon has built. You can force the thunderbolt into a straight 3g mode and that has worked for me.
