going on my 3rd HTC Inspire!!!

  • This phone is a joke....i bought one for all my kids and my husband has one too! None of them work properly! Mine resets itself, has put itself into safemode....which I don't even know what this is! The volume button broke off. No call reception! Freezes....battery life horrible!! I hate this phone and I can't wait to get my contract done in Dec.!!! We would never buy this phone or any HTC product again!  My son's phone shuts down 8 times a day and asks if he wants to send report to HTC... annoying!!  Between delayed texts and missed calls and no reception this phone is the worst ever!!!! I hope the 3 rd one that is costing me 125.00 through insurance,   will last until December when my contract is up!! UGH!!!!

  • I hear you. I am about to be going on my 4th Inspire.

    Summary of issues:

Inspire #1: Purchased new. Proximity sensor never worked. I'd always hang up on calls. 7 months later, the volume rocker became very loose. Three weeks after that, it completely fell out of the phone.

Inspire #2: Volume down rocker button was sticky and didn't work half the time.

Inspire #3: Misses about 50-75% of the calls it's supposed to recieve. I wound up having to activate call forwarding on another line just to answer calls properly.

I'm about to call AT&T for a 4th inspire in less than 12 months. I've already left a negative review on Amazon of this phone and after this experience, will never purchase an HTC product again. They are just absolute terrible quality.

  • i feel your pain. I'm also on my 3rd phone. The first one worked well for 6 months and volume key stopped working. I could not get it fixed since I had a dent in the corner. I lived with it for about 9 more months then i got mad because I could not fully use my phone. I slammed it to the ground and it still took it three drops for  the screen to crack. My second phone lasted two months before the volume key stopped working. Then the phone would go into safe mode. Good thing ATT cover it for me.
