Introducing the HTC Inspire. It's ridiculously intelligent, super fun to be around and as you've probably noticed, extremely attractive too.
can anyone tell me why the HTC Sense is not working? I registered and it is just saying that my phone cannot be located.
Is your Gps turned on?
yes, the GPS seems to work with no problems. I tried the HTC Sense site again today and still nothing!
try it on chrome. i cant get it to work on anything other than that
I can't get it to work besides the ringing part either...and I only browse with Chrome.
Yeah...I cannot get it to find my phone either and my GPS is on and I only use Chrome as well. I can get it to ring from the site, but nothing else. any suggestions? thanks!
Ok keep in mind that it is HTC Sense BETA so it will have some instability.
Today everything has been working for me except the Lock Phone feature.
It sucks!!!!!! why put it out if it doesnt work. Mine hasnt worked in forever, in fact it has never worked. But I still get the nice little error for sense not working though. Thats awesome!!
Try this. Read page 163 of the Users Manual regarding HTC Sense. Close the account on your computer and then do the same on the phone. Re-install HTC Sense on the phone. Then go to the HTC Sense website and log in using the e:mail account and password you used on the phone. Before you try to locate your phone make sure your HTC Sense account on the phone is still active and that the "Find MY Phone" is still checked. It should work on WiFi but if it does not activate the mobile network. If you are using WiFi and happen to leave your network area without activating service providers network you will lose the phones connection to HTC Sense and will have to again log in the phone.
thanks....this has worked for me.
Does the 4G have to be turned on? I don't think it will only work with WiFI will it?
my phone is set to use either WiFi or the network. I would suppose it would need to function through the carrier signal since wifi is only available through a hotspot.

I have been in contact with HTC Support over this very issue! First of all, HTCSense.com is a necessary part of being able to use the HTC Sense UI as it affects the usability of the HTC Sense UI. What I would like to know is why, if HTCSense.com is currently "beta" and therefore not a finalized service, is there no clear statement included with HTC or it's partners' advertising for HTC products that include the HTC Sense UI that clearly stipulates that HTCSense.com is in fact, a "beta" service and may not work properly with the HTC Sense UI? How many customers, who have purchased HTC products that advertised the inclusion of the HTC Sense UI, do you think would have thought differently about purchasing an HTC product if they knew that HTCSense.com is in fact "beta"? There is no mention of "beta" in any of HTC's documentation, electronic or hard copy concerning HTCSense.com. HTC has falsely advertised their products that include the HTC Sense UI as a functional, end-user-ready product and service with no mention that HTCSense.com is in fact still in the "beta" stage. As of May 28th, 2011, I received a response from HTC Support stating directly and I quote, "HTCSense.com is still in the "test" or "beta" stage with no timeline currently available as to when HTCSense.com will be available", unquote! I notified my service provider, TELUS and they are looking into this! Furthermore, TELUS invited me to forward information from the transcript between HTC Support and me concerning this very issue so that TELUS can review the issue and then they may possibly look at revising their own advertisements for HTC products that include the HTC Sense UI. No customer should have to find out after the fact that an advertised feature or service that does not function properly, is in fact not a finished product but instead, an unstable work in progress that has been deceptively presented to the public as being "ready for prime time". And to think that I bought my HTC phone partly because of it being advertised as having the HTC Sense UI... shame on you HTC.
