Just updated to ICS and newest HTC Sync on my Windows Vista computer and WMP won't recignize my phone and Sync won't recgnize any of my play lists....Help!

Why there're so many complaints on hTC Sync everywhere? Don't know it's only hTC's problem or every sync app faces the same situation easily? Maybe you can call service center for help and give them info (ie. PC OS/ Phone ROM ...) as detailed as you can.

The HTC Sync app requires other applications on your desktop in order to sync anything. For your address book/calendar it requires Outlook, for bookmarks it requires IE. Outlook comes with Office, which costs a lot. I have Outlook at work ... but I don't want/need my work contacts on my phone and...

Since our company Exchange server was upgraded to 2010, my Incredible receives calendar appointments from the server, but new appointments created on the Incredible are not uploading to the server. I am not using Google calendar at all, just syncing directly to the company Exchange server using ActiveSync...

Another issue with HTC Sync: It does not preserve file time stamps of files synced to the PC. Instead the synced files have the time stamp from when the file is copied to the PC from the device. I've not checked other file types, but it is a problem with image types.
