Is anyone else's merge running slow? when i power on the phone and slide out the keyboard to type, the screen will go black for 5-6 second and then everything will pop up slowly, that's just too long! I updated my merge to 2.3.4 and noticed problems after that. i have done a factory reset, hard and soft reset, and nothing is working.
did you drop it in the water or on floor? it might reflect on it
I am having the same issue and have also done a factory reset. I get the white HTC screen and then a loading screen often after exiting applications, even like messages or from making a phone call.
My Merge is also running slow. I found that after loading minimal apps there is very little RAM left. I've emailed HTC asking if there is a way to increase the RAM built into the phone. I just did tis, so I don't really know their answer yet.
I recommend changing the launcher for faster, I use the 360 launcher and going very well with my team now, before it was super slow.
My merge is doing the same exact thing. It also went from 3G interner to 1G its slow.

If you’re referring to a third party launcher, you will be able to find many different Launchers at the Google Play store. You can find the Play Store as an app on your phone or you can follow this link: http://play.google.com. If you do install a launcher to your Merge, however, you will lose some of the HTC Sense functions because of the nature of launchers.
