Today my phone suddenly flipped out on me. The GPS totally froze, and I had to pull the battery in order to get my phone to work. Then, I notice this SD card error...suddenly it thinks my SD card is empty/blank or has an unsupported file system. Great. I try to mount my phone as a disk drive, which I have done tons of times before, via the USB chord, but now there are only 3 options to chose from (Charge only, HTC Sync or Internet sharing, which I have never seen before). And it has some weird debugging mode when plugged into the computer.
Does anyone know what the heck is going on with my phone? It's sad to say, but it has steadily been going downhill for the past couple months...sluggish, constant crashing, always getting error messages and force-closes...
Please help!
Thanks!
Well the SD card thing happened to me. Static electricity got to the SD card and wiped it out. Hopefully you have it backed up somewhere else. I didn't and lost 80% that was on it. The rest I happened to have on my computer. With that said, go into Settings> SD - Internal Memory and find "format SD card" bite the bullet and just reformat it and start over. You're phone will restore the system files on it when it sees a card there and you will be running again. But you will have lost pictures, music, and files you added. Now I religiously copy and back up my SD card as this can and does happen.
Good luck..........
