If I'm in a location where I want to use my phone's wireless connection for my computer, how do I go about that?
you will need a tether app, like pdanet or some other one, unfortunately using the one installed on the phone won't work, another kick in the butt from sprint, the internal one has been disabled by sprint.

I was able to download PdaNet both on my PC and on the Hero. after a few tweeks like bringing down the latest version of everything. I was able to get the thether working. It was sweet. About 2 hours later I turned everything off but when I tried starting it all up again later that same day it would only take the tether by cable command after turning the phone off and back on. Then the link would work for about 1 minute and then get a code 1 error and drop. The phone showed an error 67 Registration failure, your PCS Vision user name or password may be incorrect'. I have rebooted both the PC and the phone but continue to get this error. I have also noted that in the phone PDA has asked that the PC sharing option be turned off yet something in this process keeps turning it back on??
Any have any experience with this or even an idea to attempt ?
