Thank you HTC for finally releasing the OTA ICS update. Even though the wait at times was unbearable, especially for those owners of the Rezound that were having significant issues with their phones, I want to say thank you for not giving up on the Rezound and following through with the update. I am one of the lucky Rezound owners that had very little issues with my phone, thankfully. And the issues I did have seem to be resolved so far with the update. I loved the phone out of the box and I am thrilled to no end with the update. If there is any consideration at all to updating it to Jelly Bean at some point, you would I am pretty sure, gain the loyalty back of all the Rezound customers that lost their faith in HTC with the miscommunication and poor handling of this update.
So thanks again and please don't give up on the Rezound, it is an awesome phone!

Hey @cbud72!I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the update so far, thanks for providing your feedback on your experience so far! While I don’t have an accurate time on the release of the Jellybean update, I can say we are excited about Android Jelly Bean and are planning to support it across a variety of our devices. We are reviewing the software to determine our upgrade plans and schedule, so please stay tuned for more updates on specific device upgrade plans.Sorry to hear of your frustration with your phones @crazydave and @JayDub, that’s definitely not the experience we want for our customers. I have some troubleshooting steps that may help you both out with your problems though! For the problem with Google Maps or Navigation apps crashing your phone, uninstall any recent updates for these apps to test whether the behavior continues. To do this, from your home screen pull down your notification bar and tap the Settings gear icon > Manage Applications > Tap All > Find Google Maps, or the appropriate app and tap on it in the list > Tap Uninstall Updates. Next, restart your phone as you normally would to test whether your problem continues. If the problem continues, you can start your phone in a special mode called Safe Mode. Safe Mode will prevent any unneeded Apps from automatically starting allowing you to narrow down the cause of some problems. To start your phone in Safe Mode, from your home screen hold your power button down until the menu appears; Tap Restart. Once your screen powers back on, press and hold your Volume Down button until you’re back at your Home Screen (during this time, your phone may vibrate briefly to indicate the process is working). If successful, you should see the words Safe Mode in the bottom corner. Test your phone in this mode for several hours to see if any of your problems have gone away. If they have, it may indicate an app is causing trouble. Uninstall any apps or disable them by retracing the steps mentioned above to access the Apps Management list. Tapping on the app of choice should give you an option to uninstall them. To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone as you normally would. The Google Play Store can also be an excellent source for customizing your phone with the addition of different keyboards or email apps; each have their own unique features. Try a search string of “Keyboard” or “email”. As long as you’re logged in with the Google account linked to your phone, the suggested search results should be compatible. Try a few different apps out and let us know what you decided to go with! There are some great battery tips that you can utilize from a post on our blog at http://blog.htc.com/2012/06/tips-n-tricks-for-improving-battery-life/ that should greatly increase the time you get out of your battery each day!Give those troubleshooting steps a try and shoot us a reply back with your results!
I just wanted to say that my Rezound is working just fine since the update. Thank you very much! My third HTC phone, and probably not my last. The hardware is excellent, and I happen to love the HTC Sence front-end.

I live my rezound. This is the 5th htc phone i've had over the years. my 2nd with android. the ICS update works great and the phone has been my favorite so far. I customized it with adw and it rocks.
It would be really nice to see it get jelly bean. Any ideas on progress or expected releases in the near future?
