Could anyone help me unlock my phone? I have recently bought a HTC My Touch 3G from T-Mobile and paid the full price.

I have requested the unlock code twice and I have been given the same code which doesn't work for me and I don't want to try it any more (I had tried it two times) I have asked T-Mobile to request a different numeric string from the one that I have been receiving. This whole thing is frustrating already. Should I simply pay to the online unlock services web sites? Could you recommend one?

What would happened if I permanently lock my phone to T-Mobile? Is there any way to recover from that?

I have the same problem. I already tried one of those "unlock services" that you are talking about. I paid for the service, and they had to refund me the full amount because they simply didn't have the code for that phone. Have you been succesful so far in unlocking it?. have u heard any new info?  I used  "unlock-freedom.com" and this is the e-mail I got from them...:
