I'd like to know what music program to use to transfer all my music to my new HTC Vivid
I dont really know to much about music formats but I'm thinking of getting the vivid and I only have a mac. Will my music on my mac be able to be transfered and played on the Vivid?
One option is the doubletwist program. Also there is a new option available. The new online google music program will upload your itunes music library (drm free only and a max of 20k songs) to google servers. You can then seamlessly play them using the music app on the phone. I live in a HDPSA+ / LTE area and the music plays great. This option also frees up space on your phone. To date however, I have not tried the to use this option in 3G or 2G areas.
double twist is great http://doubletwist.com/
thanks Just installed Double Twist on my pc and on my HTC Vivid
thank you guys for the info!
I use the Bluetooth File Transfer app to transfer files from my old phone to my HTC VIVID, or I use HTC SYNC in the computer to transfer files from my old 2 GB SD card to the HTC VIVID.
Bluetooth File Transfer can also move your multimedia files from the VIVID's internal SD memory to your external memory as well.
And,if you want to program song title, album, artist & genre info into your song files, I use the Player Pro (paid version) app. You have to edit the file info before you move the song files from internal to external memory though. Once moved, it won't allow you to edit the file info, except for some of those you've downloaded from the MP3 download apps from the Play Store.
