Same problem here ...
I've been dealing with this issue too. The text messages were my problem for a while and now receiving calls are becoming a problem as well...
do you know if there is anything to do to fix this?
Same problem ever since I got it a month ago. I talked to HTC tech support and they had me take it to the place i got it stating that "it's probably a bad SIM card". I took it back to best buy and they exchanged the whole phone and put in a new SIM card. still having the same issues. I will be calling HTC again to see what their excuse is this time. It is pretty strange how fast they came out with the One X+. Basically an upgraded version of the One X. I'm guessing that there is some sort of hardware issue with the One X that they don't want to deal with.
BTW is anyone from HTC going to weigh in on this?
I have the same problem.. I wont get texts for long periods of time and when I do receive a text it comes in with the original time it was sent, not the time i received it. One thing i found that helps receive them quicker is sending out other texts. It seems that when I send out one text i receive all the missing ones.
I have this same issue. I noticed when I turn the WiFi off on the phone, that doesn't happen. AT&T and HTC are both blaming each other and haven't offered a real solution.
If I am texting someone, like having a conversation, I can tell when the issue is happening. I text a period. Then I get the deluge of texts I missed. I call it "forcing the texts".
I've had the same problem ever since I got the phone (5 months ago). I thought it might have been the text msg'ing program that I was using (Go SMS) so I deleted it. Still the same issue even with the stock msg program. I receive text msg's every 30 min to an hour so I know when I should be receiving them. If I restart my phone they seem to come in. But it gets annoying having to restart my phone several times a day. It's not a network issue because when I had my iPhone it had no problem receiving texts at my job or home. It is most definitely the phone and I would like a solution but no one can seem to help. And now I am stuck with this phone for the remainder of my contract (1.5 yrs). I'm willing to try anything someone can come up with. And will appreciate any help.
Been having the same issue for months and always have great 4g lte signal plus wifi. Just called HTC who told me to have att reprovision my phone. I'll let y'all know if it helps.
I had the same problem. I called att and they re-provisioned the phone. That same night, I missed 2 calls and numerous messages were delayed. I have had a message delay of almost 24 hours before. I even had delayed messages in my own home sent to me from my grandsons I-phone. It has been several weeks now since I called att and I don't seem to be getting as many delays. I think the problem is with the 4G LTE network. I hope they get this straightened out because I love this phone. From what I am reading, replacing the SIM or the entire phone doesn't resolve the problem.
