HTC: When are you going to fix the multitasking issues that are rendering my phone useless? I am sick of the excuses. Blaming this one, that one, reset your phone, reinstall your apps.... Very frustrating!
Home launcher would be unloaded in 45 seconds to a minute and a half, unless I was staring at it. Tabs in the browser would be gone in 30 seconds, forcing page reloads.
Texts come in, but are unreadable. Just a blank write screen. Trying to dial someone yields a blank screen as well. My only recourse is to reboot the phone. When the phone reboots, there are always play store app update available that didn't show up before.
This phone sucks!!! God forbid I need to use it in an emergency, and it takes up to 3 MINUTES!!!! sometimes just to dial a contact!!!

Hi Evo, that definitely sounds like strange behavior. Try starting your phone up in safe mode to narrow down what may be the cause of those problems. To get your phone into safe mode, power off your phone from your home screen by pressing and holding your power button until an option to restart appears. After your phone restarts and your screen lights up, press and hold your volume down button until your phone is completely back on. If successful, you should see the words safe mode in the bottom corner (to exit safe mode, simply repeat the process of restarting your phone).
When finished with the process of getting your phone into safe mode, try using your phone for 12-24 hours to see if the behavior continues. If it does, I would recommend reaching out to our customer support team to be guided through a factory data reset process; you can find the contact number on our website at http://www.htc.com/www/contact/#phone . If the factory data reset does not resolve the problems, you may have to send your phone in to get it fixed up.
