My bluetooth says "paired", but not connected.
I can see my desktop computer and my laptop but I can not figure how to connect them using bluetooth.
Can I use the HTC program to sync them together for contacts and calendars?
Thank-you
I see the same thing when trying to connect to my Jawbone Icon headset. It connects once when the profile is created but does not connect again. Since you see the same thing, with a different device, I'll bet they are related problems (if not the same thing). Jawbone decide says, "ready, waiting for phone to connect" but it never does.
I use the HTC sync software when I connect using the USB/power cable. It works great. You do need to tell the phone it should sync: Settings > Connect to PC > Default Connection Type > HTC Sync. You can also choose Disk drive instead of HTC Sync. This doesn't get you connecting wirelessly through Bluetooth but it does let you exchange data while you wait for an answer to the Bluetooth problem.
45 minutes waiting in line at the Verizon store for help and I got a new headset. The message still says "paired but not connected" but it does connect now. Looks like a bug in the Bluetooth app.
