  • Is there a way to sync music and such to the Incredible without having to use it as an SD card, while this way works fine an actual sync would be fantastic for mac users that feel that they have their ipod touch so they went out and got a real phone.

  • There are a couple of apps that will allow you to experience a more Mac-like sync. For very basic syncing, SyncR from the Market. It purports to also transfer playcounts but I haven't been using it for long enough to verify how well that works. I think it cost about $3.

Salling Media Sync works well with music, podcasts, photos. The free version is very slow but works. I think the paid version was about $30.

Doubletwist is one that lots of people swear by. I've never gotten it to work the way I want/need it to. Your experience might be different. It's free. It also allows gives you direct access to the Amazon MP3 store.

Right now, I think I'll be using SyncR. The app resides on the SD card and you have to launch it when you mount the SD card but it's fast and simple.

  • I'm currently using: iTuneMyWalkman for my Mac to sync my music to the Incredible.  It works fairly well.  I created a smart playlist and have it sync that playlist over to the Incredible.  I haven't been able to get the playlists to sync yet, but I haven't been using the program long.  the music and album art make it over just fine.

    I'm investigating using:

    www.markspace.com/.../missing-sync-android.html

As says it will sync music, photos and movies.  It list the Droid as a supported device, so I'm assuming that the Droid Incredible would work to. It cost $40.

  • Markspace does good work. Unless you need all the other features it offers, I'd give Doubletwist a try as it's free.

  • One more alternative to mentioned above sync tools is SyncMate. While Free edition syncs contacts and calendars, Expert edition offers additional options and media files sync is one of them.

Take a closer look at all sync options SyncMate offers for Android phones here.

  • Read this thread to find out how to get SyncMate Expert cheaper:) http://community.htc.com/na/htc-forums/lounge/f/82/t/10810.aspx
