After three very polite calls to HTC technical support I joined this Forum.  I am afraid to use my HTC sync to update Droid People and Calendar via my Dell PC using Outlook 2010 (with Windows 7). 

The latest problem is my PC files Contacts/People as Last Name, First Name.  My Droid Incredible files People as First Name, Last Name.  So, in the last update, my Droid added ALL its first name, last name to my PC.  Now I have 1,000+ contacts duplicated.  I do not want my Droid to update anything!

My PC settings are set to only update the cell.  The cell phone is NOT to update my PC.  YET this is happening!!

Also, the latest version of HTC has no summary report.  The older version had a nice summary report where I could tell  how many adds, updates, and deletes were made to the Droid.  This gave me an audit report to spot problems.

Very frustrating!!  When is this Droid incredible Outlook 2010 going to be solved!!  I CANNOT USE HTC SYNC UNTIL THIS IS SOLVED
