Anyone able to have their Google applications show their contacts' pictures?

Wow, I'm pretty blown away by this as this is an android google OS and I would THINK that the thing it would do BEST would be syncing with googles programs, ie: contacts, gmail, calendar, etc.... in this thread you are all saying that the contacts from gmail won't sync... sounds like a fix is...

So my problem is I had all my contacts on my old phone (a POS AT&T pre-paid phone) instead of on gmail contacts. Now I have an Incredible so I copied over every person from my old phone to my Incredible. Is there a way to sync my phone's contacts with my google account now? I can only find how...

Anyone figure out why G-Mail doesn't sync as selected? Anyone else have this problem? All the check marks are in place, and I set it to the shortest period to re-sync, but it is so late to do so, I don't want to go back to my Blackberry, but I need to know I have all the mail that is waiting...
