Thanks, that solves my original question. But now on an incoming SMS I see 2. One from the classic HTC default (no apps needed) and then the 2nd being from the SMS Handcent app. Is there a way to only receive one?

Thanks for those suggestions guys. I read on other forums that some apps or causing the problem. So I did a factory reset as suggested and I am slowly adding the apps to see which one causes the problem. Haven't had a problem since I did the reset so it must be the apps.
