How do you turn off the HTC EVO 4G LTE camera shutter sound?

I can't seem to find how I can change the view of the photos in the camera from a single pic back to the thumbnail view. Help.

I suppose it must be something obvious, but I can't figure out how to take the picture once I've put it into self-portrait mode. I hear the sound saying it found my face, but I can't figure out how to snap the pic before it disappears.

I've lost the ability to switch from back to front in settings.

Recently my phone will abruptly shut down as I take a picture. It happens maybe 5% of the time at varying levels of battery power and varying conditions (needing flash or not). It's very disruptive as I have to await entire boot sequence each time. Any ideas?

Thanks for this tip. I had the same hit or miss blue tint on my pics (Thunderbolt). I checked the White Balance setting and it wasn't set to automatic. That seems to have cured my issue. Thanks!

Why do I have pictures in my gallery that other people within a 15 ft. radius have taken with there phones? And how can I prevent this from continuing?

I had the same problem. To fix it, all you need to do is go to menu> settings> applications> manage applications> all> camera> clear data. A lot easier than resetting your phone!

Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix pictures in the gallery that suddenly disappear then reappear days or weeks later. Picture shows a "!" on the square. Is there an update or app I can download to fix? It seems to also happen with the video as well.
