When I plug my EVO into my Windows XP computer the device is not recognized. Do I need drivers on the PC or some other software on the EVO?
All I want to do is copy pictures - nothing fancy.

When you connect your Evo to the pc, you have to pick mount as an SD, it will then recognize the phone as a SD card and you should get the pop up asking you what you would like to do: transfer pictures, copy folders etc. If that does not work, you can always take out your SD card and use a regular card reader, with the micro SD adapter of course. Your pc should read it like any other SD card.
