Ensure that the device can make and receive calls before proceeding.

Power off the device by pressing and holding the Power Button.

Remove the battery cover and battery; verify that the SIM is securely in the device.

Replace the battery/battery cover and power the device on.

Verify coverage; check the signal icon at the top of the screen. If less than two bars of signal, go to another location and try again.

Make sure that Airplane mode isn’t turned on by going to

Start>All Applications Arrow>Settings>Airplane Mode

Ensure that the Data Connection on the phone is active by going to

Start>All Applications Arrow>Settings>Cellular

Make sure that Data connection is set to “On”

If the user is roaming, check the Data Roaming settings by going to

Start>All Applications Arrow>Settings>Cellular

Make sure that Data roaming is set to “roam”

Verify the Network settings are set to automatic.

Start>All Applications Arrow>Settings>Cellular

Network settings should be set to “automatic”

Open Internet Explorer and attempt to browse to a webpage.

Ife the issue persists, perform a Hard Reset and try again.
