I just purchased a couple of AT&T Titan's for my wife and I. And I have to say that we are not very happy with the battery life. This is my first Windows Phone, so naturally I am playing and tweeking and everything. So I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but my wife has not "used" the phone as much as I have and she is experiencing poor battery life as well.
I have gone into the settings and made sure that I disabled anything from running in the background as well as deleted a hidden WIFI network I had setup and after all of that it's a tad better, but it's still no where as good as I expected considering all of the reviews I have read have mentioned that the battery life is great.
I don't know if I am expecting too much or if something is not right, but I don't think I use the phone enough to warrant the drainage I am experiencing on the battery. For example, the time since my last charge was 9 hours ago. Since then these are the tasks I have used my phone for. I have sent and received less than 10 text messages. I have talked on the phone less than 30 mins. I briefly launched and played Kinectimals to show a friend the game. Used the Tech News Now app to read some articles. Used the Miami Dolphins app to read about them. And downloaded a couple of apps. My battery life is currently at 32%.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with their battery life? Are my expectations to high for how long this battery should last? I don't think I am doing so much that my battery should be so low, but maybe I am mistaken. I would love feed back from other Titan users so I can put this to rest.
I think you should try to get one Mugen Power 1950mah [HLI-X310ESL] batteries for yourself. It gives 20% extra usage time and fits the original battery socket.
I've been getting around 12-13hrs out of mine with heavy use. AT&T started selling a replacement HTC battery (Same as the original) for $35 in their online store and I picked one up for long days. Overall I've been very pleased considering how much I use mine.
