I've had errors with T-Mo "Instant Messaging" app (in the official T-Mo WM 6.5 rom) for the Touch Pro 2, for a few days, but now it refuses to even load at all. It just pops up an error message, giving me the option to send or not send a report to Microsoft, then exits back to HTC's UI.
Has anyone seen a cab posted anywhere to just reinstall this "Instant Messaging" app, in the hopes that reinstalling it will remove whatever issue is causing this error? I've tried a couple of third party IM apps, and don't care for them. I just want the app from the official WM 6.5 rom. Alternately, I DO have a file-by-file copy on my PC...does anyone know if just copying some particular file(s) over the copies on the phone itself should fix the issue? I like the app's functionality, and I've gotten used to its particular menus and such. I just want to be able to reinstall it, without having to reinstall the whole rom and do a hard reset. Someone PLEASE help me!
