This is not exactly a freezing issue, but sometimes after I do a soft reset the machine boots right up to just before the "Launching TouchFLo" message would come up--except that it doesn't! It stops, there's no TouchFlo, and none of my data apps work. This has happened to me several times in the past few months, especially when I'm out outside of my normal EV data range (Peoria, IL.) It always seems to correct itself once I'm back in EV range, however I've been travelling this week and don't have that luxury.(US Cellular isn't 3G nationwide yet).
Today, after several unsuccessful soft resets (which drained my battery two whole bars!) I finally suggested to my wife that she phone me--as soon as my phone began to ring, the "Launching TouchFLO" message came up and everything was fine again. Why should this be the case? Any other suggested fixes, workarounds or what have you would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to someone posting an answer here. This has happened repeatedly to me as well. Once it required an entire replacement of the phone. Is there an upgrade to Touch Flo that is available that we don't know about?
