HTC and the Louvre Museum have collaborated to launch "Mona Lisa: Transboundary Vision," the first-ever virtual reality experience of the Mona Lisa. This immersive 7-minute VR experience allows viewers to explore Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting in unprecedented detail, using HTC's VIVE Cosmos headset. Visitors can interact with the artwork, examining textures, learning about its history, and experiencing Da Vinci's painting techniques like “sfumato.” The experience will be available on HTC's VIVEPORT Infinity from October 24, 2019, along with mobile versions for iOS and Android.
