[分享] [開發者大會回顧] Yahoo TV如何用VR開啟虛擬網紅新視界

上週在台北舉辦的VIVE開發者大會上，HTC邀請到Yahoo TV虛擬偶像製作人許朝欽（Bull），來跟開發者分享Yahoo TV是如何透過VR在內容創作上做出創新，透過VIVE Pro在虛擬世界中打造出擁有許多粉絲的虛擬網紅＂虎妮＂。如果你錯過當天精彩的分享，沒關係！現在就跟著小編一起來看看Yahoo TV是如何靠虛擬網紅來擄獲年輕朋友的心。
一開場Bull就提到，隨著5G時代的到來，Yahoo的母公司，同時也是美國四大電信業者之一的Verizon正在積極發展5G應用內容，包括VR、AR、360影片及虛擬網紅的應用及投資，以作為未來5G內容應用的佈局。這也是為什麼Yahoo在今年成立了Yahoo Lab行銷未來室，積極投入虛擬網紅的發展，除了固定的虛擬實境直播節目外，也有許多跨國、跨平台，甚至做到虛實整合的互動型態嘗試。
大家可能會有疑問，為什麼在目前網紅經濟盛行的世代，已經有許多的網紅及網美，還要另外打造虛擬網紅呢？Bull表示，他們發現虛擬網紅具有二次元角色的討喜造型的特性，親切且接受度高，尤其是年輕族群觀眾，更容易有記憶點，再來，過去這些二次元的角色（動漫角色）都只能透過漫畫或是動畫與觀眾進行單向的溝通，有了VR後，就像真正賦予這些虛擬角色生命，讓觀眾可以直接進入到VR中，直接與虛擬網紅互動。虛擬網紅同時還可以藉由VR的特性來打破時間、地域、距離的限制，想去哪裡表演就去哪裡。不僅如此，虛擬網紅也可以位公司省下許多成本，像是真人網紅上台前，需要先梳妝美髮、換裝、背搞等許多的前置準備，在虛擬網紅身上，這些時間及金錢成本都大幅降低，只需聲優或演員在後台戴上VIVE Pro的頭盔就可以立刻上台進行互動，若要對角色背景故事做轉換，也相對容易許多。
隨著虛擬實境各種創新的技術推出後，虛擬網紅的發展也會越來越多元，用戶體驗也不斷提升。就以人類真實的社交行為來說，除了透過語言將傳遞訊息外，更多的交流及感受其實是透過表情和肢體動作。若能在VR中做到面部表情同步，可以大幅提升觀眾的沉浸感，透過VIVE今年在美國CES展覽上推出具眼球追蹤功能的VIVE Pro Eye及在美國GDC遊戲開發者大會上宣布推出的嘴唇追蹤套件，不僅能模擬出更真實的面部表情，眼神的交流及嘴唇動作的同步更可以為虛擬角色帶來生命力，讓虛擬網紅與其觀眾有更深一層的社交互動。
最後Bull提到，Yahoo TV對虛擬網紅未來的發展會朝向更多虛實整合的模式，透過把虛擬網紅帶進360影片及VR環境中，讓真人與虛擬角色的延伸互動，創造出更多的創意內容、也讓網友能沉浸在虛擬世界中與其互動；或是開發以AR的形式讓虛擬網紅走入真實世界中。未來，Yahoo Lab會持續嘗試不同創新模式來做內容創作，作為佈局未來5G時代來臨的服務跟應用。

It reminds me of the challenging levels in Geometry Dash ; constantly innovating to stay ahead. As 5G rolls out, these VR applications will become even more immersive, captivating a younger audience. I'm excited to see where Yahoo Lab takes this.

As virtual idol Hoonie shines in a VR world that blurs the lines between reality and imagination, that immersive feeling is like when you take control in Basketball Stars, dribbling past defenders and scoring goals. It's not just something you watch, it's something you live!

After watching this sharing, I really feel that Yahoo TV is very good at applying technology to content creation. For example, a VR game called " Escape Road " that I'm playing recently also uses similar technology to allow characters to interact deeply with players. In the future, if virtual Internet celebrities like Hu Ni can be put into interactive games, the sense of immersion will definitely be stronger. I am super looking forward to seeing virtual idols not only in the show, but also in the game world to accompany you on adventures!
