可以啊 用 Virtual Desktop除了可以看一般影片、360影片，也可以看3d電影

BigScreen Beta 這套也可以,而且免費的.....不過主要是你的系統內要按裝撥放軟體....如果看3D的話也可以...內部設定值有支援3D撥放
而Virtual Desktop 這套要費用...我也有購買,它支援從youtube直接拉影片放OR 360度影片及相片過來撥放.....也可以支援系統內所載入的撥放器來撥放,但目前我碰到的問題是....撥放3D時字幕無法置中.....字幕完全變成左右兩側, 這問題不知道有哪位大大能夠解決!!

大家都比較推虛擬桌面的軟體
好像沒有人分享過採用 VIVE 裡面的Steam Menu ?
( 可能需要更新，或安裝SteamVR Beta 版本 )

裡面的 Desktop 區，看來就等同於虛擬桌面，還可以用手把去操控
( 借別人的圖，框起來的就是)
按一下觸控板下方的按鈕，叫出Steam Menu,
下方有一個 Desktop，移動手把，線條指過去，扣扳機就會進入自己電腦畫面
就可以用自己PC 的軟體來播放影片，
比如，我就用它來開 Media Player Classic 播電腦裡的MP4 檔...

另外，Steam Menu 裡還有 瀏覽器，
打開後，在網址列可以用內建的虛擬鍵盤輸入文字，
所以也可以直接開Youtube等網站使用~

完整的下方功能
包含了: Steam 、 Desktop 、VIVE
分別對應Steam介面、PC 桌面、VIVEPORT ( 猜測，因為裡面對應了非Steam 下載的軟體)
所以，直接用它就可以開啟新軟體，使用電腦，開啟其他非Steam (自行開發) 的軟體

個人認為，這是VIVE一出來就應該要提供的功能
而不是等候其它開發商去發掘需求後再提供
讓玩家可以方便存取PC 資源、觀賞影片、玩遊戲、做自己想做的事
更可以讓玩家黏在VIVE 上，才更容易被接受!
