HTC因應全球防疫大作戰，為協助各公司及消費者既能防禦病毒，又能讓跨團隊溝通不中斷，推出HTC首款VR虛擬會議服務－VIVE Sync，實現多人協作和遠程會議的應用!

原訂於MWC世界通訊大會中舉行的「中華電信x 5G策略合作會談」議程，因武漢肺炎疫情擴大而取消，雙方隨即安排中華電信行動通信分公司總經理陳明仕、中華電信行動通信分公司副總經理胡學海、HTC執行長Yves Maître及HTC台灣區總經理陳柏諭以VR虛擬會議方式進行台北兩地點與英國共三地進行策略會談，中華電信與HTC團隊分別從中華電信行動通信分公司、HTC台灣總部及HTC英國辦公室，透過VR虛擬會議服務－VIVE Sync進行“面對面”的多人互動之VR遠程會議。會議中除商談雙方2020策略合作重點外，並探討透過彼此多元策略產品合作，以建構端到端5G產業鍊，致力推動台灣5G發展，帶動台灣產業升級。

#VIVE Sync虛擬會議服務及工具介紹
VR虛擬會議服務－VIVE Sync是HTC推出的一款多人面對面共享空間的虛擬現實境會議應用服務，可支持多達20名人員從全球各地進入同一場景同時會面，並內含七種語言。此服務同時支援PC VR及VR一體機系統平台，可滿足市面上主流VR用戶的配置需求，會議發起人僅需一鍵點擊即可安排會議，並能通過 iOS、Android App “Sync XR Avatar Creator”，創建屬於自己的虛擬人像，並可同步到 VR設備中，會議進行中還可以選擇拍照功能，為身邊同事或朋友拍張虛擬照片。此外，内置3D繪圖功能，使用者只需揮動控制器“畫筆”就能在空間中創造五彩繽紛的立體藝術作品，並可以對虛擬空間上的共享資料進行標註等操作，提高團隊溝通效率與便利性。

全球行動科技與虛擬實境領導品牌HTC執行長Yves Maître表示：「新冠肺炎影響全球甚鉅，許多公司或部門都有出入管制，這也讓全球溝通變得非常困難。然而，透過VIVE Sync，不但使用者體驗及辦公效率不輸往常面對面會議，可打破遠距溝通的距離感，並可協助企業降低商旅成本。且不久的未來，旅行、學習、工作，跟生活相關的一切都可以透過VR遠程協作進行互聯，比如，可以邀請遠方的親朋好友在虛擬世界中見面聊天，或是共同設計即將装修的房子等。」

中華電信行動通信分公司陳明仕總經理表示：「中華電信致力提供消費者更優質的行動網路品質，未來將以超高寬頻技術，攜手HTC提供消費者最嶄新的4K、VR內容，持續發展各種VR應用服務，以延伸5G產業鏈應用，為消費者打造更多即時、同步的影音體驗！」

VIVE Sync原本是專為企業級用戶設計，現在為了阻斷疫情擴大並方便各大公司「在家上班」政策，個人用戶也可通過VIVEPORT下載使用並進行遠程協作辦公。
現在消費者可透過VIVE Sync虛擬實境技術，進行虛擬會議，還可在虛擬的環境中融合3D虛擬物品，同時支援3D繪圖、分享螢幕、分享文件、及PDF播放等功能。此外，VIVE Sync結合了微軟OneDrive和OneDrive for Business，可以一鏈上傳檔案至OneDrive等多項功能，可滿足不同企業用戶需求。更多功能如語音轉文字製作個人筆記後續將會陸續對外開放。
