標題: HTC VIVE 首次於科博館展出XR內容研發實力 跨越實境恐龍叢林
HTC全新自製內容《VIVE XR 科幻傳送門：跨越虛實恐龍叢林》首度於國立自然科學博物館「時空探秘：滅絕、新生，與未來幻境」合作展出，並於今日正式於館內開放體驗。這也是VIVE Studios首款原創自製XR擴展實境內容，展現HTC領先業界的創新研發能力。
國立自然科學博物館「時空探秘：滅絕、新生，與未來幻境」特展展期自2020年7月22日起至2021年2月28日止，透過創新科技帶給觀眾個人化沉浸式及劇場式體驗，讓觀眾穿梭橫跨1億4500萬年的時空，探索物種及生物演化進程，了解地球過去與現在面臨生態浩劫的成因，繼而思索我們想迎向什麼樣的未來。VIVE Studios融入特展主題應用，展現創新研發設計能力，讓觀眾能在一個真實與虛擬世界轉換更加流暢的體驗中獲得新的啟發，透過最新XR擴展實境技術，帶觀眾闖入白堊紀恐龍世界，在環景360度的遠古叢林內冒險探索，感受跨越於現場實境（實景）與虛擬科幻的新體驗，宛如親歷遠古生物生動再現的震撼現場。
HTC不斷努力在每一種形態的實境（Augmented Reality、Augmented Virtuality及Virtual Reality）當中創建最流暢及獨特的體驗，VIVE Studios並是為了HTC VIVE 虛擬實境內容的開發及發行而成立， 致力於將VR（虛擬實境）、AR（擴增實境）、MR（混合實境）以及XR（擴增實境）等技術嵌入及實現於實境內容中的軟體技術團隊，目前開發的相關領域包括：醫療保健、教育、遊戲、通訊、設計、電影、房地產、零售、現場活動與主題樂園。VIVE Studios使命是發掘及培養開發人才，並透過VIVE X 加速器計畫，與來自全球各領域的頂尖夥伴共同關注VR生態系的建立，計畫成立3年下來，協助及投資超越100個團隊，在亞太區更創造約40%的團隊能得到其他投資者的再次投資的好成果。
此次與國立自然科學博物館的合作展出，使用市面上最能自由流暢遊覽於真實與虛擬世界的設備－VIVE Cosmos系列，首創上掀式設計，讓使用者可以在幾秒鐘內於現實和虛擬現實之間轉換，配備高解析度的鏡頭，其前所未有的配戴的舒適性與卓越的人體工程學設計讓使用者更能享受虛擬實境體驗。

展出地點：國立自然科學博物館 第一特展室（台中市北區館前路1號）
