I purchased this by device from someone online it is a Taiwanese version HTC 10 running 1.8 0.709 point one I do not know if I'm running the most latest software and I get an error when I try and update OTA the device is s-off but locked

Sir, imay i kown the phoe has been  rooted or not?

And the other important point is taiwan vision  only suit ota updatre from Taiwan.

If you're  in othet county, maybe ota will fail.

i suggest you ask the local htc customer service for the details .

Hi,

Try to use the system restore and format your SD card, make sure your phone is not rooted.

It should be good.

PS: I'm currently use the taiwanese version, and living in europe, I have no problem about OTA. So doesn't matter where you live, you should update your system without problem.
