原作Jose Bowers說,「According to press release, the straps have also been redesigned to make the (now smaller) headset more stable. When it comes to virtual reality headsets, there's one big problem - you can't see what's going on around you. Triggers are now dual stage - as in, squeeze so far for one action, full squeeze for another - and the grips provide haptic response to virtual interactions. The controller has also been upgraded to include lithium polymer batteries to allow for recharging. CES 2016 is now taking place in Las Vegas, so we expect plenty of tech information to be seeping out over the coming days. While the original HTC Vive development kit has impressed many with its "room-scale" VR capability, the unit was a full step behind its competitors in the ergonomics department. HTC announced its first VR headset - called Vive - at last year's MWC conference. If nothing out of the ordinary happens, HTC Vive should arrive in April. With this latest VR system, you don't have to worry about moving around as it's created to offer you the best virtual reality experience and you're not limited to seated or rotational VR experience. Inside, "brighter displays and image refinements lead to increased clarity". The headset has been made more compact, and interchangeable foam inserts allow for users to find a ideal fit for their needs. Vive Pre can also be easily adjusted to suit a variety of facial shapes while remaining compatible with a variety of eyeglasses. As announced earlier today, the Vive Pre has been officially announced. Perhaps most notably, however, is the new front-facing camera, which HTC says will let you blend reality with VR, by bringing real physical elements into the virtual space, like drinking a drink, for example. Those sensors have also been redesigned to be more compact, quieter, and provide improved tracking. Also, as pointed out by Nvidia, a typical PC can not handle VR games, requiring very powerful hardware to deliver a good experience. As regards to games, HTC Vive Pre will have thousands of games that are still being developed. Observer Gazette 」
